Location: Washington, DC (onsite; remote work not considered)
Salary: $115,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year

What you will do
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with Federal Civil agency decision-makers, program managers, and technical evaluators across communications and AI portfolios.
- Develop and execute strategy for government stakeholder engagement, lead capture, and growth of Starshield and AI business lines.
- Shape SpaceX responses to RFIs, RFPs, Sources Sought, and other government solicitations (pricing, technical volume, strategy, and win themes).
- Coordinate with engineering, customer ops, finance, and other internal teams to drive sales results and program development efficiency.
- Analyze U.S. Government connectivity, satellite communications, AI/agentic LLM, and compute markets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Continuously refine engagement roadmaps based on internal strategy, mission needs, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
Requirements
- Onsite in Washington, DC; remote work not considered.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, sales, or U.S. Government acquisition.
- Top Secret Security Clearance required (must be obtained and maintained as a condition of employment).
- Must be a U.S. citizen/national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card), refugee, or asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations under U.S. export regulations (ITAR).
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (~25–50%) and work extended hours/weekends as needed.
