TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (SaaS/Aerospace & Defense): Driving net-new and expansion opportunities within the US aerospace and defense vertical with an accent on complex multi-stakeholder deal navigation and strategic pipeline building. Focus on mapping customer pain to measurable business outcomes and shaping the vertical-specific sales playbook.

Location: Hybrid (Somerville, MA) - Must be US-based and in office 3+ days/week.

Salary: $95,000 - $143,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle for net-new and expansion opportunities within the US aerospace and defense vertical.
  • Build and maintain a self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting and partner referrals.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals from initial discovery through negotiation and closing.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver evaluations and ensure smooth handoffs.
  • Capture field intelligence to help Product and Marketing inform the roadmap and GTM strategy.
  • Mentor earlier-tenure Account Executives by sharing deal strategies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Deep familiarity with the aerospace and defense industry, including procurement and compliance environments.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Must be US-based with the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to map pain points to business outcomes.
