Senior Staff Operations Manager

Location: New York City; hybrid work from the New York City office 3 days per week

Salary: $178,500–$265,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Set and manage internal and company-facing planning and reporting cadences, including leadership meetings, All Hands, offsites, QBRs, MBRs, WBRs, and annual planning.
• Codify the Applied Data & Insights operating model, including engagement models, decision rights, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize, and resource critical projects through biannual planning cycles and prepare executive reviews.
• Partner with Finance and People on headcount planning, budget management, hiring consistency, organizational design, onboarding, and review cycles.
• Coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, the Data Product Manager, and the Technical Program Manager to improve cross-functional collaboration.
• Support vendor and tooling governance for data and analytics tools, including evaluation, contracting, and lifecycle management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or consulting, ideally in a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience supporting data, analytics, data science, product, growth, or growth marketing organizations.
• Experience building and improving processes and programs from the ground up.
• Exceptional communication skills, including translating between technical and business audiences and creating executive-ready presentations.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with experience aligning cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Proficiency with enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Glean, or Cursor, including integrating them into daily workflows.
