Data IT Delivery Lead (m/f/d)

Location: Košice, Slovakia. Remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Negotiable base salary depending on seniority and experience, with a variable component and additional financial benefits. Base salary starts at €2,700 gross per month.

What you will do

• Own domain data products from design and development through operationalization, evolution, and retirement.
• Lead data engineering delivery across ingestion, pipelines, transformations, APIs, and engineering processes.
• Co-lead with business domain owners to align priorities, roadmaps, and delivery outcomes.
• Build and scale domain data products on a unified data platform with a focus on quality, consistency, and reuse.
• Define and enforce standards for interoperability, governance, and data quality.
• Ensure operational reliability through service levels, release discipline, technical debt management, and architectural evolution.

Requirements

• Experience leading data engineering or data product teams.
• Experience building and operating scalable data products on modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, pipelines, transformations, APIs, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with data product management, domain-oriented design, and federated data environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, planning, and risk management skills.
• English at C1 level is required. A Master’s degree in Information Technologies or a comparable background is expected.

Nice to have

• German at B2 level.
