What you will do

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate general ledger records for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure compliance with Australian taxation requirements.
• Process payroll, including superannuation, payroll tax, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) compliance.
• Develop monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports to support business decisions.
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Utilize AI-powered accounting tools to automate workflows and improve reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in an Australian practice.
• Strong expertise in Australian BAS, payroll, and GST requirements.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or Reckon.
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Availability to work Australian Western Time (Perth time).
