What you will do
- Prepare and lodge accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) in compliance with ATO regulations.
- Maintain full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients using cloud platforms like Xero and Dext.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure ledger integrity and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide payroll support and act as a primary advisor for clients regarding their day-to-day accounting needs.
- Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance accounting processes and service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant within Australian Accounting.
- Must be located in the Philippines.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting systems, specifically Xero and Dext.
- Strong understanding of Australian regulatory standards, GST, and payroll liabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
