What you will do

• Manage, nurture, and grow a team of 5 accountants based in Sydney and Melbourne.
• Manage a portfolio of SME clients across consulting, eCommerce, and retail sectors.
• Own end-to-end compliance matters, from activity statements to tax returns.
• Provide guidance and quality control to the bookkeeping centre of excellence and the AI product team.
• Act as a trusted advisor on all aspects of accounting and tax planning and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Registered Tax Agent for at least 2 years (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practising tax accountant managing SME portfolios.
• At least 3 years’ experience managing bookkeepers and tax accountants.
• Proficiency with Xero Practice Manager, Dext, A2X, and related accounting tools.
• Must be based in Australia to fulfill tax agent and client requirements.
