Bookkeeper (Construction)

What you will do

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for approximately 200 transactions per month.
• Manage AR/AP reconciliations and handle over 400 invoices monthly.
• Process weekly payroll for 15 employees, including superannuation and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
• Maintain and update accounting systems using Xero and Dext.
• Prepare weekly aged payables reports and assist with BAS, IAS, and TPAR preparation.
• Provide general bookkeeping and administrative support to directors.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Philippines.
• Proven experience working with Australian construction clients.
• Strong proficiency in Xero and familiarity with Dext or similar document management tools.
• Solid experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of Australian compliance requirements (BAS, STP, etc.).
• Ability to align with AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday).
