What you will do

• Prepare and lodge accurate BAS and IAS while ensuring GST and payroll compliance with ATO regulations.
• Maintain full sets of accounts and financial records for a portfolio of clients using Xero and Dext.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to maintain ledger integrity and smooth operations.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports to provide client insights.
• Manage end-to-end client relationships as a primary advisor for Australian SME owners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Accountant within an accounting firm.
• Outstanding verbal and written client relationship management skills.
• Must be based in Perth, Western Australia.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting systems like Xero and Dext.
• Strong understanding of Australian regulatory standards and ATO regulations.

• Experience with AI-led applications in accounting.
