Engineering Manager Asset Data & Analytics (AI/IoT): Leading a multidisciplinary team to develop data products and AI solutions for energy production assets with an accent on predictive maintenance and asset performance. Location: Hybrid (Rotterdam, NL). Required to work 2-3 days per week at the office

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analytics professionals delivering data products for the Assets domain.
• Drive the development of dashboards, machine learning, and AI solutions to improve asset performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to translate product strategy into actionable delivery plans.
• Build technical capabilities, engineering standards, and MLOps practices to enable delivery at scale.
• Strengthen organizational data foundations and implement self-service analytics.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams of data and ML professionals.
• Track record of scaling AI/data products that provide measurable business value.
• Experience establishing data platforms, governance practices, and engineering standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Rotterdam HQ (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as energy, industrial operations, or reliability engineering.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Kafka, Databricks, Collibra, and dbt.
• Experience working with IoT and SCADA data sources.
