Head of Transportation & Logistics

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid working model with support for in-person and virtual work.

Salary: $163,800–$227,500 CAD annually

What you will do

• Own the Transportation & Logistics segment product strategy, roadmap, go-to-market plan, revenue attainment, and growth.
• Define packaging, pricing, positioning, and build/buy/partner strategies across enterprise, mid-market, and small fleet customers.
• Build relationships with carriers, fleet operators, logistics companies, industry bodies, and channel partners.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management for a cross-functional segment team.
• Translate board-level strategy into an execution roadmap and manage the segment investment portfolio.
• Track revenue, market share, win rate, and customer retention while addressing product capability gaps.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commercial, product, or go-to-market roles within transportation, logistics, fleet telematics, or related industries.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles with cross-functional commercial or product scope, including 3+ years accountable for Transportation & Logistics revenue or commercial outcomes.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or senior commercial and product leads.
• Deep knowledge of commercial fleet operations, truckload carriers, freight markets, fleet telematics, and regulations including ELD, FMCSA, CARB, CSA, and DOT standards.
• Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder management, communication, packaging, pricing, and positioning skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
