Location: Must be based onsite at the HQ in San Mateo, CA (5 days per week)

Salary: $125,000 - $160,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and drive cloud-managed access control products from initial idea to completion.
• Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to build integrated product lines.
• Tackle large, complex problems and take technical ownership of major systems.
• Implement best-in-class product experiences rather than just individual features.

Requirements

• BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Linux development as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Linux device drivers, kernel patches, and secure operating systems.
• Understanding of Distributed Systems and HTTP debugging techniques.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Yocto Project.
• Familiarity with Secure Boot.
• Knowledge of Go and Python.
• Experience with WebRTC.
