What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of real-time embedded software for machine control in semiconductor inspection systems.
• Architect scalable software for high-speed data acquisition, image processing, and intricate hardware interaction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and optics domains to build integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a team culture focused on technical excellence.
• Champion modern software methodologies, including Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and optimize performance-critical code.

Requirements

• MS/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of embedded software development experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Design and Programming (OOD/OOP).
• Deep experience with Linux/RTOS environments, multithreading, and synchronization.
• Working knowledge of communication protocols such as RS-232, Ethernet, EtherCAT, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with motion control (servo, piezo, stepper motors) and classical/modern control theory.

Nice to have

• Laboratory experience with electrical, mechanical, and optical measurement instruments.
• Experience with semiconductor fab operations or manufacturing technology.
• Linux administration and UML modeling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Project planning and management skills.
