Embedded Engineer (C/C++/Python)

Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

What you will do

• Design, develop, debug, and test embedded software for mission-critical applications.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.
• Conduct design reviews with engineering teams and government stakeholders.
• Package and deliver embedded software products for government customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• At least five years of experience as an embedded developer on programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with low-level programming on Windows, Linux, or RTOS platforms such as VxWorks or uC/OS.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.

Nice to have

• Experience automating tests for embedded software running on embedded devices.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and software release processes for government customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
