What you will do
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for safety incidents and develop preventative strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of corporate EHS policies and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical EHS training to site leaders and employees.
- Act as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and local stakeholders.
- Participate in EHS reviews for new capital projects and equipment installations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in EHS programs within a multi-site or industrial environment.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support assigned locations.
- Proven ability to drive safety accountability through influence without direct authority.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CRSP, or PE.
- Experience with industrial hygiene sampling and annual environmental reporting.
- Background in process safety programs.
