Regional EHS Field Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Must be based in or near Champaign, IL, with up to 50% travel required.

Salary: $93,600 – $1,050,400

What you will do

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for safety incidents and develop preventative strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of corporate EHS policies and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical EHS training to site leaders and employees.
• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and local stakeholders.
• Participate in EHS reviews for new capital projects and equipment installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in EHS programs within a multi-site or industrial environment.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support assigned locations.
• Proven ability to drive safety accountability through influence without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CRSP, or PE.
• Experience with industrial hygiene sampling and annual environmental reporting.
• Background in process safety programs.
