What you will do

• Lead and mentor Security Analysts through coaching, career development, and performance management.
• Oversee security alerts, investigations, and incident response, serving as the primary escalation point for high-risk situations.
• Conduct security assessments and advise clients on cybersecurity best practices and risk reduction strategies.
• Support compliance initiatives including HIPAA, SOC 2, and cyber insurance requirements.
• Own and optimize security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Huntress, and vulnerability management tools.
• Partner with leadership to evolve and expand security services in response to emerging threats.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in an MSP, MSSP, healthcare, or regulated industry.
• 2+ years of leadership, team lead, or management experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security technologies, identity management, and endpoint security.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and managing compliance-related initiatives (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, SC-200, or SC-300.
• Experience leading security programs specifically within an MSP or MSSP environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Lighthouse, Sentinel, or Defender XDR.
