What you will do

• Design and deliver AI agents to automate high-volume finance workflows, including period-end close, GL reconciliation, and regulatory filings.
• Architect a governed agent platform featuring observability, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop controls to meet SOX audit requirements.
• Build complex integrations with core financial systems such as NetSuite, Workday, and Anaplan.
• Define compliance-grade engineering patterns ensuring every agent action is traceable, reviewable, and defensible.
• Act as a technical thought partner to FP&A and Treasury leadership to translate spreadsheet-based workflows into engineered systems.

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend software engineering experience with production systems at scale.
• Proven track record of deploying production LLM-based applications with hallucination guardrails and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and state-managed approval workflows.
• Literacy in financial systems, including ERP data flows, reconciliation logic, and SOX-controlled environments.
• Ability to operate autonomously as a solo or embedded engineer within a non-engineering organization.
