What you will do

• Develop AI-enabled applications, agents, and workflow automation using RAG, guardrails, and evals.
• Bridge core platform development with direct customer delivery, translating user pain points into reusable product capabilities.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle from prototype to production, including backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Set technical direction and make key architecture decisions to ensure secure and reliable systems.
• Integrate solutions with customer data sources, identity providers, and cloud or on-prem infrastructure.
• Debug complex issues across application, infrastructure, and networking layers in customer environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience shipping production-quality systems.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Proven ability to apply LLM-based approaches (RAG, guardrails, evals) to real-world problems.
• Strong experience in scalable system design and backend engineering for distributed systems.
• Ability to operate across the full stack, including infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Experience translating ambiguous requirements into concrete technical implementation plans.

Nice to have

• Experience as a forward deployed, solutions, or founding startup engineer.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, audit logging, and data governance.
• Experience working within highly regulated or secure customer environments.
