What you will do

• Architect and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning and tool execution.
• Develop and harden MCP servers for both external SaaS integrations and internal proprietary tools.
• Build secure OAuth and credential management infrastructure to support scalable AI connectors.
• Optimize internal BI environments on Databricks to ensure data reliability for AI-driven workflows.
• Define and enforce production standards for AI services, including logging, security, and deployment.
• Collaborate with R&D and business teams to triage integration requests and build high-leverage plugins.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience
• Must be based in the United States
• Proven experience with MCP servers, LLM tool use, or AI agent frameworks
• Strong proficiency in REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and cloud credential management
• Experience deploying services to Kubernetes or equivalent container infrastructure
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical engineering specifications

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data warehousing solutions
• Demonstrated history of using generative AI to improve personal or professional productivity
