Salary: $140,000 - $175,000 + equity

hirify.global is a Series C startup building the largest and highest-power satellites for missions from LEO to deep space.

What you will do

• Define company-wide sourcing strategies for mechanical commodities including machined parts, mechanisms, composites, and COPVs.
• Lead end-to-end supplier management, from identifying capabilities and onboarding vendors to tracking milestones until delivery.
• Drive contract negotiations with key suppliers to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
• Create robust supplier scorecards and metrics to maintain consistent performance and quality.
• Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and execute high-quality purchasing transactions using materials requirement planning.
• Establish strategic relationships with manufacturing companies and distributors to align with industry trends.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or engineering within the aerospace industry.
• 3+ years of experience reading mechanical drawings and working with structures and mechanisms hardware.
• 3+ years of experience managing Bill of Materials for mechanical assemblies.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other eligible individual).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience procuring pressurized components and solar array materials.
• Experience working in a new product introduction (NPI) environment.
