Senior Sourcing & Procurement Manager (Aerospace)

Location: San Carlos, California, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR regulations or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Salary: $130,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Execute purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, mitigate risks, and manage vendors for critical hardware programs.
• Build and maintain data-driven sourcing tools and dashboards for supplier performance, spending, and delivery accuracy.
• Drive cost-efficiency initiatives through supplier collaboration and manufacturing or process improvements.
• Manage procurement workflows, including pre-award reviews and compliant purchasing packages.
• Automate procurement processes and reduce manual workflows.
• Partner with engineering, finance, and operations teams to support hardware development and production.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status or eligibility for the required ITAR/EAR authorizations.
• Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations in a technical or engineering environment.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, or business intelligence tools for supply chain analysis and visualization.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, MES, or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendors, contracts, or statements of work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience supporting complex hardware or engineering programs.
• Experience in high-growth or deeply technical organizations.
• Experience managing high-value spend portfolios or vendor-owned inventory agreements.
• Experience with procurement automation or process optimization.
• Background in aerospace, space, or other frontier technology industries.
