Senior Manager, Indirect Procurement (Aerospace)

Salary: $190,000–$285,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop procurement professionals while setting priorities and accountability standards.
• Own a complex indirect procurement portfolio covering ground support infrastructure, construction, metal structures, fabrication, and other categories.
• Develop multi-year category and supplier strategies focused on savings, resilience, scalability, and supplier performance.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations, securing favorable commercial, technical, and delivery outcomes.
• Partner with Finance, Launch and Testing, Facilities, HR, Legal, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other business stakeholders.
• Transform procurement systems and processes, manage supplier risk, and advance sustainability, supplier diversity, compliance, and responsible sourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement or supply chain experience with significant indirect-category responsibility.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience, including team development and mentoring.
• Demonstrated success with complex category and supplier strategies, measurable savings, negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP, P2P/S2P, e-sourcing, and contract lifecycle management systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba.
• Experience sourcing construction, capital projects, ground support equipment or infrastructure, or engineered and fabricated goods.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• CPSM, CPSD, CIPS, or another professional certification.
• Experience with indirect procurement transformation, sustainability, and supplier diversity programs.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, frontier technology, or another complex manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with government contracting and ITAR/export controls.
