Senior Materials Planner / Buyer (Aerospace)

Salary: $94,000–$117,500 base pay per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end material readiness for new product and equipment builds.
• Translate build schedules, BOMs, inventory, open orders, and lead times into time-phased material requirements.
• Manage purchasing execution, including purchase order creation, supplier confirmations, deliveries, receipts, and issue resolution.
• Maintain clear-to-build reporting by reconciling BOMs, inventory, open orders, and engineering change orders.
• Identify shortages and late deliveries before they affect build schedules, and manage supplier relationships to improve on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management while improving procurement processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain roles.
• Working familiarity with program and project management principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and incomplete information in a fast-paced environment.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Procurement Manager supporting contract manufacturers.
• APICS/ASCM certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SAP for complex product manufacturing.
