Engineer (Hardware/Software): Engineer and implement hardware and/or software solutions for complex part or module failures and system issues in the China install base with an accent on multidisciplinary engineering domains including electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, and optics. Focus on diagnosing complex system problems, collaborating with local and global teams, and providing 4th line support to regional technical teams.

What you will do

• Engineer and implement hardware and/or software solutions for complex part or module failures and system issues.
• Collaborate with local part supply centers, strategic sourcing & procurement, and customer support sectors.
• Interface with hirify.global development and D&E Field teams to exchange knowledge and solutions.
• Provide 4th line support to regional technical teams.
• Contribute to building trust between hirify.global and customers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Beijing, China and work onsite at the local office.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Systems and Control, or Applied Physics.
• Fluency in English and Chinese preferred.
• Strong knowledge in at least one domain: electronics, light sources, mechanics, or mechatronics.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and solve complex engineering problems.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology as per US Export Administration Regulations prior to starting work.
