Senior Category Manager (Logistics & Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Develop and own the global category strategy for logistics and supply chain services, including freight, warehousing, courier, customs, MRO, and transportation.
• Create multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with business priorities, financial targets, operational requirements, risk, and compliance.
• Lead complex, high-value global sourcing initiatives, including supplier evaluation, negotiation strategies, and commercial frameworks.
• Structure and negotiate strategic supplier agreements while improving cost, service quality, reliability, risk management, and long-term value.
• Manage supplier segmentation, governance models, preferred supplier frameworks, performance measures, and senior-level supplier relationships.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and business leaders to drive transformation, automation, reporting improvements, and supplier consolidation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, logistics, supply chain, or a related commercial field.
• Experience developing and executing global or multi-region category strategies for logistics and supply chain services.
• Experience leading complex, high-value negotiations with logistics providers, freight forwarders, warehouse partners, transportation suppliers, or other strategic service providers.
• Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers, supplier markets, service models, contract structures, risk management, and performance governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional partners, operate autonomously, and make sound commercial recommendations.
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization, transformation initiatives, supplier consolidation, operating model redesign, or logistics network optimization is preferred.
