What you will do

• Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for wire harness assemblies and related electrical distribution system components.
• Develop commodity strategies, sourcing roadmaps, RFQs, bid analyses, supplier selections, and commercial negotiations.
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers while monitoring quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, launch readiness, and service performance.
• Support new product development, product launches, business transfers, supplier readiness, capacity planning, and risk mitigation.
• Lead cost reduction, value engineering, should-cost, benchmarking, total-cost-of-ownership, and working-capital improvement initiatives.
• Resolve supplier issues and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing, sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, contract management, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with cost modeling, should-cost analysis, cost breakdowns, strategic sourcing, supplier development, and productivity initiatives.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing wire harnesses, terminals, connectors, wire and cable, overmolded assemblies, PCBAs, electrical, and electromechanical components.
• Knowledge of automotive launch and supplier quality processes, including APQP, PPAP, and change management.
