Senior Financial Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support for the Global Engineering organization with an accent on labor cost management and AWS forecasting. Focus on building scalable financial processes, optimizing investment spend tracking, and delivering actionable insights to senior executives.

Location: Hybrid in Edgewood, NY (New York metro area). Must be able to work from the office 3 days per week.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 USD annual base

What you will do

• Manage the labor Center of Excellence (CoE) for 2,000+ Engineering FTEs and contractors.
• Lead end-to-end AWS forecasting and partner with engineering leadership to centralize processes.
• Maintain the ICS Engineering Allocation model to drive insights into investment spend.
• Present monthly reporting, forecast packages, and annual strategic plans to senior executives.
• Coordinate monthly close activities and ensure accurate expense recognition per GAAP and company policy.
• Drive continuous improvement through process automation and financial systems optimization.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Must be based in the New York metro area for a hybrid work schedule.
• Expert-level Excel skills and proficiency with tools like TM1, Anaplan, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex planning processes.
