What you will do

• Lead and grow the application engineering team for power distribution in the United States.
• Provide technical responses to customer inquiries and participate in major quotes and bids.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to provide product optimizations for new and existing customers.
• Work closely with R&D to develop new products and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide corrective action reports for major quality concerns and participate in customer SRM meetings.
• Represent the company at industry conferences (IEEE, ICEA, ASTM) and participate in standard development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering, preferably in the Wire and Cable industry.
• Strong engineering knowledge and proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel at least 25%, including international travel.

• Prior engineering management experience and strong managerial skills.
• Specific experience working in power distribution or transmission.
• Proven ability in conflict resolution and motivating cross-functional teams.
