What you will do

• Manage O&M activities for utility-scale solar PV sites and substations in Southern Arizona.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on power electronics, BESS (Fluence, Samsung, Hitachi), and trackers.
• Execute high, medium, and low voltage switching and prepare clearance orders.
• Ensure all field work adheres to strict environmental and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership, training, and reporting for other field personnel.
• Perform technical and administrative duties associated with power facility operations.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualifications.
• 3+ years of experience as a PV O&M solar technician, or 5+ years in a power plant with at least 1 year in PV Solar O&M.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical fundamentals, control circuits, and solid-state theory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
• English: Ability to read, write, and understand required.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments, at heights, and in extreme temperatures.
