What you will do

• Lead, manage, and mentor a software engineering team to deliver compelling, customer-oriented solutions.
• Own the claims system design and delivery, partnering with architects and product owners.
• Drive the implementation of technical solutions with a specific focus on systems integration within the automotive space.
• Manage third-party firms and contractors, optimizing budget, timelines, and skillsets.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Greater than 10 years of experience in the software development field.
• 5-7 years of experience leading projects or initiatives through influence.
• Proficiency across the web stack, including Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Salesforce development.
• Experience with release systems, CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, and GitHub tools.
• Deep understanding of client-server architecture and experience with automotive solutions (Dealer Management Systems).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an AI-enabled environment using tools like Microsoft Copilot.
• Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
