Location: Remote within the United States (except Hawaii)
Salary: $174,000 – $224,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, guiding their professional and technical growth.
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmap priorities and product direction.
- Drive the delivery of scalable, reliable systems that support a high-quality member experience for the EC Card product.
- Collaborate with Lead and Staff Engineers on architecture decisions and the prioritization of technical debt.
- Remove technical and operational blockers to ensure consistent team progress.
- Use data and operational metrics to guide decision-making around product performance and engineering effectiveness.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 1.5+ years of engineering management experience.
- Experience building highly available, scalable, and low-latency systems.
- Proven ability to hire and build inclusive, high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment.
- Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
Nice to have
- Experience working in the fintech domain.
- Experience with mobile development.
- Familiarity with Typescript, Node.js, MySQL, GCP, React Native, React, GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
