General Manager (Transportation)

Location: Multiple locations in the Midwest, including Sioux Falls, SD and Rochester, MN; must be local to one of hirify.global's operations or willing to relocate.

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, excluding equity or variable pay.

What you will do

• Manage daily on-site operations for hirify.global's Midwest transit service.
• Prioritize real-time issues for drivers and dispatchers and develop solutions for round-the-clock scheduling.
• Lead, coach, and develop drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and other field employees.
• Build relationships with driver partners, customers, community leaders, local organizations, senior management, and external partners.
• Define team metrics, monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and analyze operational data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be local to one of hirify.global's operations or willing to relocate within the United States.
• Experience leading support teams, managing performance, and developing people.
• Strong communication, prioritization, delegation, problem-solving, and execution skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
