What you will do

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Cognex and Keyence vision systems, safety circuits, and sensors for automated medical manufacturing equipment.
• Optimize manufacturing processes, production layouts, and sequences of operations to increase efficiency.
• Support equipment validation by developing and executing defining documents and IQ protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including electrical schematics and software backups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets EHS requirements and product specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, Master’s with 2+ years, or a PhD.
• Possession of unrestricted U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship provided for this level).
• Proven experience in electrical and controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements for office and manufacturing facility roles.

Nice to have

• PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience in automated manufacturing.
• Expertise in robotics, motion control, or industrial networking.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with MES, SQL, Python, or Power BI data tools.
