What you will do

• Troubleshoot production equipment, fixtures, tooling, and test systems to reduce downtime.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with process development, validation, and production issue resolution.
• Implement Lean manufacturing practices, 5S improvements, and standard work to enhance throughput.
• Create and update work instructions, setup sheets, and maintenance procedures.
• Support quality investigations related to defects, rework, and scrap.
• Train operators on new or updated manufacturing processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Elizabethtown, NC
• Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic diagnostic tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated equipment, sensors, pneumatics, motors, PLCs, or robotics.
• Familiarity with ISO-certified manufacturing environments.
• Basic CAD, LabVIEW, or programming experience.
