Designer Software Technology Leader (BIM)

What you will do

• Lead divisional BIM standards, software workflows, model coordination, and document management practices.
• Represent the Evansville division on the National BIM Task Force and lead the local Software Committee.
• Maintain BIM execution plan templates, CAD standards, project setup procedures, drawing templates, model integration, clash detection, and BIM QA/QC processes.
• Support project managers with BIM scope, coordination requirements, software needs, execution planning, and labor estimation.
• Act as a BIM Coordinator on selected projects, leading setup, drawing coordination meetings, scan integration, clash detection, deliverable details, and project status communication.
• Evaluate software upgrades and new technology, provide training and troubleshooting, liaise with Autodesk, and support national AI integration initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in BIM, design technology, engineering design, project coordination, or technical project delivery.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Forma, Navisworks, Procore, Inventor, Recap, and BIMDEX.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Ability to work on-site in office, industrial, and construction environments, including walking on sites, climbing stairs and ladders, carrying light equipment, and using required PPE.
