Senior Design Coordinator (Industrial Design)

Salary: $110,000–$115,000 annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead project coordination across process, civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFP disciplines.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, project management teams, discipline leads, consultants, and external partners.
• Guide projects through conceptual design, detailed design, construction support, and closeout.
• Interpret PFDs and P&IDs to develop optimized industrial facility layouts.
• Lead design reviews, quality control, schedule coordination, and communication of critical design decisions.
• Support scope, budget, schedule, and risk management while mentoring designers and technical staff.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in drafting and design, engineering technology, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of industrial design, process design, or multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of process design, equipment layouts, piping systems, and industrial facility operations.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Recap, NavVis, and related tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam, plus knowledge of process safety management and regulatory requirements.
