What you will do

• Develop and execute the global logistics strategy to support Commercial, Clinical, and R&D operations and company growth.
• Oversee domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and distribution of APIs and drug products.
• Own global import/export, customs, and trade compliance activities in accordance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Manage strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and CDMOs using KPIs and governance.
• Evaluate business cases and recommend logistics investments to improve operational performance and total landed cost.
• Assess geopolitical and regulatory risks to develop mitigation strategies for supply chain resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Bridgewater, NJ for hybrid work.
• Deep knowledge of global transportation, warehousing, and pharmaceutical Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Experience managing temperature-controlled (cold chain) and high-value pharmaceutical shipments.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams and external vendor governance.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

Nice to have

• MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business.
• Experience supporting clinical supply chains and R&D operations.
• Experience working within a virtual manufacturing environment utilizing CDMOs.
• Expertise in customs valuation, trade compliance, and dangerous goods transportation.
