What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate critical scalable services such as user identity and friend graphs.
• Collaborate across teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure high quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and performance evaluation.
• Apply best practices for availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining code correctness and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience (post-Bachelor's) or 1+ year (post-Master's).
• Proven experience with distributed systems and operating highly-available systems at scale.
• Ability to independently execute medium-sized features.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to streamline development and audit generated output.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of NoSQL, Memcache, Redis, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS services.
