Sr Infrastructure and Capacity Optimization Engineer

What you will do

• Manage daily capacity reporting and validate the accuracy and completeness of infrastructure capacity data.
• Create, categorize, assign, and route hardware, quotation, and work requests from stakeholders.
• Maintain infrastructure and capacity work queues, including statuses, owners, timestamps, notes, and missing information follow-up.
• Maintain vendor and partner data covering pricing, lead times, availability, and quality notes in standardized Excel templates.
• Generate recurring reports and basic dashboards covering request aging, inventory changes, vendor scorecards, and infrastructure headroom.
• Maintain BOM reference trackers and support incident and change-review documentation, version control, and audit-ready records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with infrastructure engineers, product owners, and operations teams.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
