Manager, Data Center Capacity Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote. U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status required. The role requires periodic additional background and fingerprint checks for government customer requirements.

Salary: $100,000–$155,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Lead data center capacity planning across power, cooling, space, and availability at rack, row, and room levels.
• Optimize power utilization and use DCIM software for capacity planning and inventory management.
• Define infrastructure capacity standards, reporting benchmarks, forecasting workflows, and data integrity controls.
• Own physical audit execution and readiness for asset and capacity data supporting SOC 2 and SOX compliance.
• Support project management by tracking and enforcing SLAs, and oversee equipment end-of-life planning and decommissioning.
• Build and lead a growing team of data center capacity engineers while influencing cross-functional partners and suppliers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in critical environments with direct exposure to data center capacity and power management.
• Experience optimizing power utilization and capacity in data centers or similarly critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, networking, structured cabling, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with DCIM software, capacity planning tools, asset management, performance metrics, and spreadsheet analysis.
• Experience managing personnel, developing people, building teams, and influencing multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Experience with physical audits, SOC 2 and SOX compliance, equipment end-of-life planning, and decommissioning.
