What you will do

• Shape Canva's voice and adapt key content for Dutch-speaking users across the product.
• Manage relationships with localization vendors and language partners.
• Develop and maintain Dutch style guides, glossaries, and localization best practices.
• Review and evaluate translation quality across product and marketing surfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers, marketers, and designers to answer linguistic and cultural questions.
• Support QA processes and triage localization bugs and testing results.

Requirements

• Experience in localization, internationalization, content, or language management roles.
• Strong understanding of Dutch language and cultural nuance.
• Experience reviewing localization quality across different surfaces.
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in the Amsterdam office.
• Experience working in SaaS, product, or tech environments.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Language Lead at an LSP or software company.
• Proficiency with Smartling or similar CAT tools.
• Copywriting or transcreation experience.
• Understanding of SEO and organic growth.
• Experience working with AI-assisted localization workflows.
