Project Coordinator (Localization)

Location: Hybrid work from the Amsterdam Sloterdijk office, Netherlands. A valid working permit for the Netherlands is required.

What you will do

• Manage multilingual translation and localization projects from planning and scheduling through delivery and post-delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate internal and external project teams, including translators, language reviewers, and DTP specialists.
• Communicate with international clients and translation suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage project files and translation data using CAT tools, primarily SDL Trados Studio.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and resolve project-related issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and coordinate smooth handovers between stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in translation, linguistics, international studies, or a related field.
• At least 3–4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar position.
• Excellent written and spoken English plus proficiency in at least one additional language.
• Proven experience with CAT tools such as SDL Trados Studio or MemoQ.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and email applications.
• Valid working permit for the Netherlands.
