Dutch Language Manager (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid work in the Amsterdam office, Netherlands

Company

Canva is a design platform serving more than 180 million monthly users across over 100 languages.

What you will do

• Shape Canva’s voice across product content in Dutch.
• Translate and adapt content for Dutch-speaking users.
• Manage localisation vendors and language partners.
• Develop and maintain Dutch style guides, glossaries, and localisation best practices.
• Review translation quality and identify improvements across product and marketing surfaces.
• Support linguistic QA, localisation testing, and bug triage.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Dutch language and cultural nuance.
• Experience in localisation, internationalisation, content, or language management.
• Experience reviewing localisation quality across different surfaces.
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localisation workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfort working with data, feedback, and user insights to improve quality.

Nice to have

• Language Lead experience at an LSP or software company.
• Experience with Smartling or similar CAT tools.
• Copywriting, transcreation, SEO, design, or visual experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted localisation workflows.
• Tertiary education in linguistics, literature, localisation, or a related field.
