Head of Localization

What you will do

• Define and communicate the global localization roadmap for marketing and web/app product experiences across 38+ markets.
• Architect and embed localization workflows into CI/CD pipelines, headless CMS platforms, and design systems.
• Drive the adoption of Generative AI, machine translation, and proprietary LLMs for marketing adaptation, customer experience scaling, and creative translation.
• Lead a dedicated team of localization technology, quality, and project management specialists.
• Manage external language service providers, enterprise contracts, budgets, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Own translation velocity, localization quality, terminology management, and return on investment.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in global localization, translation management, and international marketing operations in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience managing and scaling dedicated localization teams.
• Hands-on experience with Localization-as-Code, APIs, headless CMS, translation management systems, CAT tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical expertise deploying machine translation, fine-tuning LLMs, and automating marketing workflows.
• Experience negotiating enterprise language service provider contracts and managing multi-market budgets, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Full professional fluency in English is required.
