What you will do

• Act as the domain SME for NAV production applications, focusing on private equity and private markets.
• Conduct front-end analysis of complex work, including feasibility, data quality, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into clear solution intent.
• Identify risks such as data gaps, downstream impacts, and regulatory implications before delivery begins.
• Partner with Integration Quality Engineers to define cross-solution test scenarios.
• Create and maintain functional documentation, including system overviews and use cases.

Requirements

• Substantial experience gathering and documenting business requirements in financial services.
• Solid understanding of alternative investment fund services, specifically Private Equity or private markets structures.
• Demonstrable knowledge of fund accounting and NAV production processes.
• Ability to model business processes and produce analytical artefacts like use cases and process models.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Investran expertise.
• Experience with platforms like LemonEdge, Yardi, eFront, or Geneva.
• Deeper knowledge of NAV oversight, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted analysis and discovery tooling.
• Experience with platform implementation or migration projects.
