Senior Business Change Project Manager (AI)

Location: Leeds, UK; hybrid working with three days per week in the Leeds office, including Thursdays. Some UK travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead complex business change projects from initiation through implementation.
• Deliver initiatives involving new products, operational efficiency, automation, AI, digital transformation, workflow redesign, and technology-enabled change.
• Manage claims and policy platform enhancements, international expansion projects, and vendor-led system implementations.
• Chair project working groups and steering committees while maintaining governance, reporting, RAID logs, plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, business readiness, and delivery quality across multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with executive sponsors, senior leaders, business analysts, subject matter experts, technology teams, solution architects, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex, business-critical change projects from initiation through implementation.
• Experience with governance, budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, risk and issue management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working in regulated environments, ideally insurance, financial services, banking, or another highly regulated sector.
• Strong vendor and third-party supplier management experience.
• Experience running steering committees and governance forums, influencing decisions, and driving outcomes.
• Experience applying both Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches.

Nice to have

• PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM qualification, or an equivalent recognised project management certification.
• Insurance industry experience.
