TL;DR
Project Manager/PMO Consultant - Defence & Security (Project Management): Guiding and executing complex defence, security, infrastructure, transport, energy, and public-sector projects and programmes with an accent on planning, scheduling, risk, benefits, budgets, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on tailoring Agile and Waterfall methodologies, managing project dependencies and change, and producing analytical reports for client decision-making.
Location: Hybrid working in the UK, with 2 days per week on client site and 3 days remote. Sole British nationality is required because the role involves secure clients.

What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from initiation through closure.
- Develop project plans covering scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timelines, and client objectives.
- Apply and tailor Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies to different contexts.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, resources, and change activities.
- Maintain client relationships through stakeholder engagement, communication, and transparent status reporting.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- Sole British nationality is required for work with secure clients.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management consulting, PMO, or a related role.
- Experience applying project management methodologies and tools across different project contexts.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, motivate contributors, and manage stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Previous experience working with secure clients.
