Finance Change Lead (12 Month FTC) (Finance Transformation/Change Management): Leading complex finance transformation programmes from planning through delivery, with an accent on stakeholder engagement, business readiness, and adoption of new capabilities. Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month

What you will do
- Lead complex finance transformation projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, budget, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Partner with Finance teams, business stakeholders, senior leaders, suppliers, and external partners to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Bridge programme teams and Finance functions to embed new capabilities and drive successful adoption.
- Define and communicate the impact of change across people, processes, and technology.
- Build and motivate cross-functional and virtual teams while creating a collaborative working environment.
- Drive continuous improvement, business readiness, and delivery of measurable business benefits.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of project management experience delivering complex business transformation or change programmes.
- Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe delivery frameworks.
- Experience in or exposure to Finance or Accounting environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and presenting complex information to senior and executive audiences.
- Strong change management, problem-solving, risk management, adaptability, and collaborative leadership skills.
