What you will do

• Plan and execute risk-based operational audits, advisory reviews, and enterprise risk assessments across global business functions.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes, governance routines, and internal controls.
• Assess key enterprise risks, including third-party risk, compliance, regulatory readiness, and data governance.
• Use data analytics, process mapping, and trend analysis to identify risk indicators, control gaps, and process inefficiencies.
• Translate audit results into clear, executive-level insights and practical recommendations addressing root causes.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT to evaluate risk response effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in internal audit, enterprise risk management, operational risk, or related risk/control disciplines.
• Experience leading or executing operational audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and business process improvement.
• Ability to assess root cause, business impact, and risk severity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Must be based in Mexico

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CPA, or CFE.
• Experience using data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, or Python.
• Experience working within a global technology, SaaS, cloud, or software company.
• Familiarity with IIA Standards, COSO, ISO, or NIST governance/risk frameworks.
