What you will do

• Independently lead technology, cybersecurity, and AI-related risk assessments and define audit scope.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of key technology and AI/ML controls.
• Prepare high-quality workpapers and draft clear audit reports for senior stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools to automate testing and enhance audit efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering and Security teams to track and ensure timely remediation of control weaknesses.
• Mentor junior team members on audit methodology and root cause analysis techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-6 years of audit experience in technology or cybersecurity.
• 2+ years of experience in diverse technology environments and operational processes.
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, ITACs, and frameworks like NIST CSF, COBIT, or ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular office attendance in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Active CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, or CEH certification.
• Experience auditing cloud-based or SaaS environments.
• Big 4 public accounting or IT audit advisory experience.
• Awareness of AI governance, ethics, and emerging risks.
